The Right Moment Is Now!

The Right Moment Is Now!

------------------------------------------------------

He was possibly the most sincere person I've met inmany years. Voice filled with emotion, he asked asimple question. "Why am I not doing better in myonline business?""I really *need* to succeed."A great question. One I've heard (and asked myself)many times. After a considerable time of soul-searching, I've comeup with the answer for myself, and my friend, and maybeyou. The answer? Waiting until things are JUST RIGHT before making amove. Oh, the excuses I give myself. * I need more information.* I'll wait until it goes on sale.* I'm just not sure.* If only they had a trial version.* I don't have the time to learn how to use it. * This free version will do just as well.* No one really succeeds with that stuff. * I just want the site to look a little better. On and on it goes. But no more. Actually, a quote by Ghandi helped me get off my duffand into the game. Ghandi said "The difference between what we do and whatwe are CAPABLE of doing would suffice to solve most ofthe world's problems." (Emphasis mine)So, in the spirit of "do it now" here are five thingsyou can do today, and can do *quickly* to make yourbusiness better. 1. Improve Your Follow UpQuickly write down on a piece of paper the top 5reasons why someone should by your product. In thecoming week, write one message of 300 words about eachof the 5 reasons. Then load them in an autoresponderand offer them to the people who visit your site.If you need help you can get my book on follow up here.

2. Do Something About SEO Search engine optimization is so complicated that itmakes my head hurt just to type the words. But there issomething you can do *tonight* that will help yourbusiness.

A. Submit your site to Yahoo
http://submit.search.yahoo.com/free/request

B. Submit your site to Google
://www.google.com/addurl.html

NOTE: This will *not* always be free. Do it now.3. Start A Pay Per Click CampaignGo to Google and set up an Ad Words account. Then bidon the ONE keyword that best describes your site.Getting started is the key. The Google site is actually quite helpful in how to dothis. 4. Place Some Ezine AdvertisingYou can place classified ads for as little as a buck. Some solo ads sell for under $50.Looking in the Directory of Ezines I found 400 + ezinesthat sell solos.

You can become a member of the DOE here.

5. Research What You Need To Know. Why fiddle around with "free" eBooks that waste yourtime and are filled to the brim with affiliate links? The easy way is to isolate the area you wantinformation in (say it was affiliate marketing) then goto Google and find the top book in that area. Then buy the thing and *really* read it and commit totake action. Without a doubt, taking action is the single mostimportant skill online. YES ... you need knowledge andinformation, but you do NOT need to suffer frominformation overload. Learn what you need to know, make a decision, and thenchoose to act. Learn from failures and successes andsoon time will become your strongest ally.

Your Mental Diet By Randy Gage

"If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them." - Henry David Thoreau

You are surrounded by a data-sphere of information that promotes negativity, limitation, and lack consciousness. It pummels your senses from all directions. It comes from your TV, radio, the Internet, your friends, family, and the people you work with. Most people are so saturated by lack programming that they can't even fathom a life of anything but struggle and complaint.

What you read, what you listen to, and the people you talk with, have a huge effect on the person you are and the thoughts you have. TV, radio, and the newspaper are all channels of information that create and feed the mass reality of doom and gloom.

This doom and gloom is perpetuated by your government who constantly appeal to the poverty mentality of the masses in order to get re-elected. There is a definite Robin Hood mentality when it comes to taxation that is extremely poverty biased. It is perpetuated by the different forms of media whose ultimate goal is to win your viewership. They pander to your fears and play upon your emotions.

In America, the microcosm for the mass culture can always be found in the entertainment industry.

Watch the movies, study the Nielson ratings and check out the New York Times bestseller list. When is the last time you saw a billionaire or multi-millionaire portrayed in a positive light in the media? Think of the coverage provided on Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, Ross Perot, Howard Hughes, or Ted Turner, on down to the millionaire on "Gilligan's Island."

I actually read a serious Op-Ed piece by Ralph Nader - chastising Bill Gates and other billionaires for not redistributing their money to the poor people of the world!
I used to think Nader was a good guy. Obviously, he has lost his mind. And Gates, like a moron, actually released a statement defending himself. Like the fact that he doesn't give away all the money he worked so hard to earn, needs to be defended.

You must recognize that this data-sphere is continually programming you 24/7, and that almost 95% of it is lack and limitation programming. And it's not just the media. It's also your family and friends. And your church and government.

Have you ever heard or used the term "filthy rich?" Have you stopped to consider what it means? As if, somehow, it is dirty to be rich. Heard the expression, "poor as a church mouse?" Heard someone called a "rich bitch?" What kind of programming do you think you're getting on a subconscious level when you hear things like that?

So what do you do?

Human beings have huge creative potential that is limited by continual inner chatter and the clutter of information fed to you by the data-sphere. It's easy to focus on things that do not make us happy, do not make us healthy, and do not make us wealthy. What you need to do in order to be successful is to channel that time which you now spend on frivolous activities, into productive activities that bring prosperous results.

If you want to reach the highest levels of success-you have to zealously guard your consciousness as I do. You must control your own programming, and reject the poisonous stuff most people are trying to feed you.

In order to focus on prosperity, it is imperative that you spend more time on your own personal growth. Each morning and each evening before you go to bed, spend time on self-development. Remember you are the foundation from which all your dreams are made reality. Your physical health is but one half of the whole. Your mental health is the other.

Web Traffic Techniques You Can Use Right Now for 2006

"Web Traffic Techniques You Can Use Right Now for 2006!"
By Jason Mangrum, Author The Instant Traffic Formula 2006 http://www.InstantTrafficFormula.com

As you probably know, getting web traffic to your site is one of the three most crucial components to making any money online. In Mark Joyner's Internet Intelligence Manuscript (Volume II) he clearly explains how any web traffic (not just "targeted traffic" can be made profitable, by mentally framing, or conditioning your visitors to become receptible to your offer.

One of the easiest ways to mentally re-frame your visitors upon entry to your site, is to walk them through a three-step process that:

A) Grabs their immediate attention with a promise of benefit
B) Pre-Qualifies them before they get to your sales letter
C) Follows up with them over time with new content and reminders of your offer

Keep in mind, web traffic is just one component of the three required to sustain sales.
The other two are:
1. Testing new advertising campaigns and ad copy
2. Tracking and keeping records of your results from each campaign

Here's an example case study of the three-step process...

On December 16th 2005, my book "The Instant Traffic Formula 2006" was released to teach internet entreprenuers how to create, attract and monetize responsive web traffic to any web site or affiliate program. As of today, my web site at www.InstantTrafficFormula.com (which uses the exact techniques taught in the book) is averaging a 64.86% visitor-to-lead conversion, and an average sales conversion ranging from 4.69% up to 11.36% all-around, which is currently netting me just over $1.48 per unique visitor to my site.

Again, these statistics do not take follow-ups into account. These are "straight-out-of-the-gate" type sales that occur within minutes of my visitors signing up to read my sales letter.
And you can do this too.

I follow a simple formula to create web traffic, qualified leads, responsive subscribers, loyal customers and even active affiliates who promote anything and everything I sell online.

You can sum up the entire formula into the three major components I mentioned above, and create a fail-proof success system for your products, services and affiliate programs. After you've activated the formula, the best way to keep the momentum of traffic, leads and sales coming in on a consistent and even predictable basis, is in three words...

What those three words are, and how to use them by combining eight other powerful elements is carefully documented inside my book. But here's the process I used personally on my site:

1. My visitor is directed through a tracking link (or affiliate link) to a lead capture page called a "Name Squeeze" where prospects give their contact information in order to get details of my report.

2. Upon submitting their contact information, they are immediately directed to my sales page for the details, and offer for the Instant Traffic Formula Scientific Marketing Report.

3. My follow-up autoresponder system immediately sends them an email reminding them of my offer, giving a few testimonials of the report and sends them a link to check it out at another time. A few days later, they receive reminders of my offer, more quality feedback of my report, new articles and content about getting web traffic, and again - links back to my sales letter.

The lead capture page serves to "pre-qualify" visitors who actually want to read my sales letter to find out more about my offer. I've heard a lot of people claim many visitors (and sales) can be lost by forcing your prospects to "do something" before they get to your offer -- but my direct experimentation and results show the majority (64.86%) of visitors who hit my site, sign up.

Once my visitors sign up, they become leads and are set into my autoresponder system to receive consistent follow-ups until they buy, or unsubscribe. Thankfully, the autoresponder service I use (Aweber) allows me to easily direct my new subscribers to a custom "Thank You" page. Most web marketers still use the "default" thank you page and their subscribers are returned to a "thanks for subscribing - now close the window" type message. Useless.

My thank you page re-directs to a tested sales letter that continues the mental conditioning process by giving in-direct answers to questions that were created in the mind of my prospects upon reading, and signing up from my Name Squeeze.

Now that my three elements are together, I combine them with "CII" or the three most powerful words in all of marketing, and achieve phenomenal and consistent results over time.
Using just this part of the formula alone, can cause a massive shift in your bottom line. However, when the complete formula is both discovered and activated, you'll have a direct funnel to bring money "out of thin air" to you whenever you like, and for whatever you want.

Do this. Think of something you'd like to have.
Anything. It can be anything. Don't limit yourself.
A new car, a new house, a nice expensive necklace for a loved one -- anything.
Now put a price on it.
That's your goal. Your intention.
Write it down.
Next, get out a calculator and punch in the price of what you want.
Divide that number by the price for whatever item you want to sell.
Round up to the nearest whole number, and you've got a definite number.

This number equals the amount of sales you'll need to get your wish.

Now use the formula described in this article, and funnel the correct amount of sales into your business, by getting the traffic, pre-qualifying them, and going for the sale using CII to guide you along every step of the way -- until you reach your desired number of sales.

Once the sales you've accumulated equal your desired amount, you get your wish.
Try it for yourself and see the power in this technique to create anything you want.
Above all, stay focused... keep the momentum... and enjoy your prosperity in the new year!

Jason Mangrum is known to internet entreprenuers as both "The Marketing Machine" and "The Marketing Mad Scientist." His newly-released Instant Traffic Formula 2006 divulges a complete, scientific marketing formula that brings web traffic, leads, subscribers and sales to any product, service or affiliate program.

Seven Success Secrets for 2006 (c) Charlie Page
http://www.realworldtactics.com/cmd.php?af=278684
-------------------------------------------------------

I think we have all asked the same question at one time or another. That question is ...
"What does it really take to succeed online?"
If we listen to the emails and websites we read, we hear many strong opinions.

* "Create your own product" they say.
* "Do joint ventures" says another.
* "Pay per click advertising is all you need" says yet another voice.

And they always make it sound so much easier than it really is, while loudly proclaiming that their way is the only way. And yet we know that can not be true.
So ... what DOES it take to succeed online?
While I will not pretend to have all the answers, I will share openly what has worked (and is working now) for me and my clients as well.
Experience has proven that focusing on these seven basics will yield results, no matter what market you are attempting to reach or product you are promoting.

1. YOU MUST HAVE A WEBSITE TO SUCCEED

It used to be that email was enough. But today you need a website. It is incredibly ironic that this vital beginning step is the step where so many people fail.

Creating a website can be hard if you don't know how.
But there is a solution, and that solution is blogging.

Using Blogger.com, you really can put meaningful content on the web today, and do it free.
If you have ever struggled to create a website, if you have been confused by HTML editors and all the technical mumbo-jumbo, try blogging today.

2. USE EMAIL TO FOLLOW UP

This is probably the #1 piece of advice I give clients, and it works almost every time.
The logic is undeniable.

If your site is wildly successful, over 90% of first time visitors will not buy on their first visit!
How are they going to remember to return to your site, when there are billions of sites online, many of which are probably your competitors?

You must remind them to come back. You must woo them back with enticing offers and give them solid reasons to do business with you. And nothing does that better than email.
If spending money is an issue, you can create a follow up system free at SendFree.com

3. LET THEM HEAR YOUR VOICE

There is no doubt about it ... content is king. People come online to find answers to their questions and solutions to their problems.

When your site is the one providing those answers and solutions, people will buy.
But first things first - people have to find your site. And that means getting listed in the search engines. And getting listed in the search engines means providing new content as often as you can.
I suggest adding content to your site every day, or at least every week.

The great thing here is that you don't have to write it! If you can write your own content, by all means do that. People love to hear from other real people, much more than they want to hear from some slick marketer.
If you can't write, or just don't want to, then look for resale rights products that offer articles.
Using Google, just enter this search phrase. "resale rights" + articles You will find lots of sites offering pre-written articles that you can use as content on your website.

4. BE COMMITTED

Here is a huge mistake that is made over and over again by very well-meaning people. They join a program, try making it work for six or seven weeks, then quit when things don't happen as quickly as they were lead to believe.

This is an understandable situation, but one that will lead to failure every time.
The fact is, success takes time. Just as you would not expect to open a pizza shop in your town and become an overnight success, so too you should not expect immediate success online.
It can happen, but it is rare, no matter how many say they have done it.

The key here is to do your homework before committing to any program or business. 'Doing your homework' includes asking questions, hearing from people who have succeeded with the program, getting wise counsel from people you respect, and taking the time to think it through.

Once you find a product or program you believe in, make a commitment to stick with it until you have tried everything possible to succeed.
That commitment will take time to accomplish, and you might just find that an extra month or three of hard work is the key that unlocks the success you desire.

5. EXPAND SLOWLY

There are many ways to make money on the Internet. There are even more ways to advertise or promote a product or program.
And that wide variety of choice is often the downfall of many a well-meaning person who is new to the ways of the Internet.

The best advice here is to choose one or two methods of marketing, and get a deep knowledge of what to do in each before moving forward.

One way to do that is to make a list of all the possible ways you could use to promote your offer. Then number the list, making #1 the method you think would be most likely to succeed.
Learn all you can about that method, moving on to your second choice only when you feel you have mastered the first tactic.

Doing this will help you save money, sell more products, and help you become an expert at marketing online, which will give you the power to sell any product to any market any time you want!

6. DEVELOP SALES RESISTANCE

This might sound odd coming from a guy who sells things online for a living, but it's a big one. So big, I almost made this number 1!

If you and I were to count how many products we have bought in the last 12 months that are going unused now, we might get downright depressed!
It's a fact, Internet marketers know how to sell. Their sites know how to get us to take action now, and boy do we buy. We buy things we don't need, and sometimes we buy the same thing over and over again!

The way to develop sales resistance, and keep more of your money in your pocket where it belongs, is to ask questions. Here are three that I ask before buying anything.

* Do I really need this now?
* Do I already own it, or own a similar product?
* What problem will this purchase solve?
* What is my specific plan for using this product in the next 24 hours?

I believe that we should buy what we need to succeed. Be that information, or a service, or a product to sell, you simply can not make money without spending money. But spending wisely is a must!

7. BE REALISTIC

We touched on this in point 4, but it's worth another look. My friend, sites that say you will earn $10,000, $20,000 or more in the next 90 days no matter what your current level of experience is are lying to you.

We live in an amazing time. The Internet has opened new possibilities to anyone with a connection and a burning desire to succeed. And that is a wonderful thing, one that will literally change our world.
But it takes skills and time to succeed online, and there is no getting around that.
Can you make a living online? For most people, the answer is yes. But that yes must be tempered with the knowledge that it takes work, certain skills, some startup money, and time to succeed online.

If you are realistic, it can work.

The seven secrets revealed above have passed the test of time, working for people on almost every continent and in every economic circumstance.

Let me encourage you to take these seven secrets and make them your own. Take time to choose what you want to accomplish online, then take action today using these seven secrets as your guide.

Henry David Thoreau said "If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."

Nowhere is that statement more true than on the Internet. I hope that 2006 is all you dream it to be.

Generating Self-Sustaining Website Traffic

Generating Self-Sustaining Website TrafficCopyright 2005 by Willie CrawfordUpon returning from a recent seminar, I had two messagesfrom newspaper reporters on my answering machine. Theywere both seeking interviews. I also had emails showingthat I'd earned several thousand dollars while I wasout of town speaking. The orders had all been processedautomatically, and the emails were just for my information. It was at that point that I realized my Internet businesshad truly reached critical mass.Critical mass is a term that I first heard my friend JackHumphrey, author of Power Linking, use in reference togenerating website traffic and growing a business. Jack used it to define that point at which you could stop actively promoting your online business (for a while) and it would continue to grow and prosper.I'm sharing this with you because I want you to see thetools that enabled me to reach that point. This articlewill show you to see why those tools are so powerful. Let me begin by telling you that it took me eight years to grow my online business to the point where it is largely self-sustaining! I don't want to mislead you there. Abig part of success is unwavering persistence. Now, let's look at the tools I used to reach and maintaincritical mass.1) Search engine marketing. All of my important sitesARE manually submitted to the search engines. I submitand re-submit them "semi-automatically" though. I use asite called SelfPromotion.com. This site allows you tostore all relevant data about a site into their database. The software then submits your site to selected search engines and directories. The beauty of self-promotion.com is that you can then setit so that the software periodically resubmits your sites. It’s truly "set it and forget it" website promotion.SelfPromotion.com is free, but if you make a contribution,to help pay for the upkeep of the site, you get access tomore nifty tools. You can get a free account with them at:http://selfpromotion.com/?CF=Willie%20CrawfordThat URL lets Robert know that I sent you. I've used thistool for over 5 years now - and love it!2) Article marketing. I've written and distributed over300 articles. Articles establish you as an expert in themarketplace, build inbound links to your sites, pre-sellyour products, and help you rank higher in the search engines for your targeted keywords. The power of article marketing is that once the articlesare in circulation, and on hundreds... or even thousandsof websites, they can work for you forever. I still gettraffic to some of my websites from articles I wrote in1998!Many online marketers now use articles to market theirwebsites, but they don't do it very effectively. Articleshave to be written, and deployed, in a way that they bothgain you advantages in the search engines and that theyconvert readers into customers, subscribers, clients, and fans. That means your articles need SOLID content. In writing articles (or having them ghost written) youmust always remember that people surf the Internet lookingfor information and solutions to their problems. Yourarticles must actually provide this information or helpthem to actually solve their problems. Distribute articlesthat accomplish this, and you'll develop an endlessstream of raving fans, all storming your website for moreof YOU.Writing articles is relatively easy. If you don't knowhow to write articles though, I recommend that you takeadvantage of the training available at a site calledContent Propulsion Lab. Content Propulsion Lab teachesyou not only how to use articles to grow your business, but also how to use multi-media content (such as MP3'sand online video). You're shown how to deploymulti-media content in a way that causes the searchengines to gobble it up.I mentioned the multi-media content because, while articles work beautifully, website audio and video isgrowing at an amazing pace. You need to offer youraudience information in the formats that they preferconsuming it in. More and more, this format is becomingaudio and video. These formats allow your audience toconnect with you on a much deeper level since they see or hear a live person. Connecting with your audience on a deeper level means MORE sales.I now use Content Propulsion Lab's resources to push my content out to an amazing array of places. I also TEACHothers how to do this through tele-classes and webinarsfeatured at Content Propulsion Lab. You can check outall of the mind-boggling capabilities Content Propulsion Lab offers at: http://CashThroughContent.com3) Viral tools. A viral tool is merely something that, once set in motion, continues to grow, andspread, and benefit you, without any additional inputbeing required from you. Two of my favorite viral tools are online discussionforums and blogs. Online discussion forums allow people interested in a given topic to congregate andand discuss that topic. Over time, your discussion forumwill develop a core following who will help to spreadthe word, and help to maintain the community. Seekvolunteer moderators to help police the forum andmaintain standards. Many people will volunteer for alink back to their site, or just for the exposure. The number of blogs is growing exponentially. Blogsare proven traffic magnets. A blog allows you to shareinformation, opinions, etc. with your audience. If your blog engages your audience they will help tospread the word. At the same time, blogs are visitedfrequently by the search engines. Search engines notice which ones are updated often and become "trained" to spider those blogs often.Because blogs are spidered so often, it's one ofthe quickest ways that I know of to get a new sitenoticed by the search engines. Just post a link toone of your new sites on a blog that's frequentlycrawled, and the search engine spiders will follow that link and index your new site. This is VERYpowerful to be such a simple technique.Blogging is very simple, but there are lots of tricksand techniques that offer you an amazingly competitiveadvantage. My favorite blogging platform is WordPress, which I learned all about from my friend ShermanHu. Sherman has a series of short online videos thatexplain practically everything you could ever wantto know about blogging with WordPress. You can watch 22 (yes - 22) of Sherman's videos on WordPress blogging absolutely free at:http://ShermanHuOnWordPressBlogging.comOther viral tools include ebooks, PDF special reports,MP3 audio files, and Camtasia videos. We can't coverall of these here, but any of them could be created, and then offered to the marketplace. If they delivertremendous value, or even entertainment, they willbe passed along. If you create these viral tools properly, they will lead highly qualified traffic right back to your site.4) Link Building. People find, and then visit, yoursites by following trails. Those trails can be mentionsof your url in online or offline media, articles, press releases, and links on other sites pointing toyou. The more links you have pointing to you, thegreater the chance of someone finding one of thoselinks and visiting your site. So, you should set outon an aggressive effort to build quality links pointing to your site. Since I value quality links over sheer quantity,I have over the years simply emailed webmasters ofsites I wanted to exchange links with suggestingthe exchange. Now, I hire others to coordinate linkexchanges for me. This is a better use of my resourcesin the long-run than doing it myself, since there are services that do this fairly inexpensively. To locate one of these services, simply type in an appropriate term at the search engines. You can also set up an affiliate program as a way to reward others for linking to you. Affiliate programmanagement software, such as the one I use athttp://ProfitAutomation.com allows you the option ofpaying people (on a per click basis) just for sendingtraffic to you. I do this on a few sites, but on most sites where I have affiliate programs, I pay on a per sale basis. This still generates a lot of one-waylinks but only costs you when those links make you sales. There are many, many more techniques that you canuse to build a steadily increasing flood of trafficto your sites. I use literally DOZENS of differentmethods. If you're looking for an "encyclopedia" of traffic generation methods, I highly recommend a course by my friend John Reese, called Traffic Secrets. You'll find John Reese's Traffic Secrets Course at:http://TrafficSecretsByJohnReese.comThe most important part of building your websites'traffic up to critical mass is just getting started.Pick ONE of the methods outlined above and get started. As you verify that a particular method works greatfor you, and your marketplace, keep using that one and then add others.
